Dual Channel AFR
Zeitronix Wideband Systems can be paired together for dual channel operation.
In dual channel configurations each wideband oxygen sensor connects to either a
Zt-2 or
Zt-3 wideband
controller. Choose between two (2) Zt-2s, two (2) Zt-3s, or one (1) Zt-2 and one
(1) Zt-3.
Compare the Zt-2 and Zt-3
for the dual-AFR setup which will best meet your needs.
Several common left/right bank AFR setups are described below. Setups
include single or multiple displays, real time
software display and
datalogging to the
Black Box Data Logger.

Dual Channel Setup with
nDash
Display
Two or more (up to 8)
Zt-2s/Zt-3s
can be connected to the nDash display. The nDash can read and display wideband
and sensor readings from each Zeitronix device plus OBDII data all at
once. The nDash has two additional
0-5 volt analog inputs and data logging is supported through an SD card slot on the side of the
display.

Advanced Monitoring
Using two
Zt-2s together in a dual-AFR setup doubles data collection capabilities. With two Zt-2s you can monitor dual-AFR,
dual-EGT, 2 pressures, 2
temperatures and more. Additional sensors can be connected to the
User1 input. Advanced monitoring possibilities include, for example, analyzing
transmission slippage using two RPM sources (engine RPM and drive shaft RPM).
